The Life of Muhammad ﷺ introduces the Makkan [and Madīnan] Period Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the Final Messenger of Allāh
and the greatest human being to walk on the face of the earth. In this series Imam Anwar Al-‘Awlaqī, author of the best-selling series, The Life of the Prophets, eloquently presents the Makkan [and Madīnan] Period of the Prophet’s life in a detailed manner, deriving valuable lessons from it and thus making it relevant to our modern times.
The series is primarily based on Ibn Kathīr’s book on the Seerah.
Imām Al-Awlaqi brings to life stories from the golden era of Islām in a dynamic style and instils in the readers & listeners a deep love for the beloved of Allah ﷻ

A classical work that clarifies the pariseworthy qualities that the believers should strive to possess and the reprehensible characteristics from which the believer should flee.

As the author is a noble sister herself. Also, it is the only book that I’ve
come across on this topic, unique to the English language, which has been able to
succinctly tackle a modern-day issue that plagues the Ummah today in an
eloquent and classical way, filled with proofs from the Qur’ān and Sunnah, as well
as some relevant commentary by classical and contemporary scholars.

Do not use your energy except for a cause more noble than yourself. Such
a cause cannot be found except in Almighty Allāh Himself: to preach the
truth, to defend womanhood, to repel humiliation which your Creator has
not imposed upon you, and to help the oppressed. Anyone who uses his
energy for the sake of the vanities of the world is like someone who exchanges
gemstones for gravel.
There is no nobility in anyone who lacks faith.
The wise man knows that the only fitting price for his soul is a place in
Paradise.

The Straight Path of Asceticism, Worship and Piety
[The Importance of Adhering to the Sunnah]
THE RIGHT COURSE OF ASCETICISM (zuhd),worship
and piety is to abstain from the unlawful acts
(;muharamat) and desires {shahawat) and to be moderate {iqtisadaf)
in worship. It is [to know that] adherence to the Sunnah preserves
[its adherents] from the evil of the [desirous vile] self (sharr al-nafs)
and Shaytan without the need for embarking upon the paths of
innovators. This is because those who follow the paths of innovation cannot escape falling into the holes of sins and cannot but be
chained with its shackles, even if their error is due to following an
[alternative]interpretation, because it isinevitable for them to follow
desires. It is for this reason; innovators are called the people
of desires (ashab al-ahwa ).Indeed, the path of the Sunnah is paved
with knowledge ilm), justice and guidance (,huda),whereas the
path of innovation {bid'ah) is paved with ignorance (jahl),oppression,
and pursuit of speculation and all that which the [desirous vile] self is apt to desire.

"Those were the ones upon whom Allah bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in prostration and weeping."
Surah Maryam Ayat 58 (19:58)
The Clear and Noble Qur'an
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (radiyallaahu 'anhu) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Two eyes have been forbidden from being overcame by the Fire. An eye which has wept out of fear of Allah an eye which stays vigil throughout the night guarding Islam and one's family from Kufr."

Miracle, or Mere Genius?
Without exaggeration, the genius of its language, elegance, rhythm, rich imagery, fluidity, its weaving of metaphors and concepts, its many varied and previously unheard of styles and techniques of prose, as well as remarkable use of vocabulary, make it a work of eternal perfection. It immediately and powerfully impacted human intellect and behavior, spectacularly transforming the Arabic language, and bringing to the conscious of man a majestic vision, directing his attention to the highest things. It is some of these features that this work attempts to evoke and explain. The author has evidently given great thought to his subject matter, and his contribu- tion focuses in essence on the question of what exactly makes the Qur’an linguistically miraculous?

Allah, the Exalted, diversified His provisions for man--from his entering into this worldly life, until he reaches the home of permanent abode in the Hereafter. Even in the three stages of darkness before that; when His Commands took effect for him to come into existence. Thereafter, his detachment from his mother's womb, His subsidiary Commands begin concerning him--addressed primarily to his welfare. Allah Exalted, has issued exhortation to his caretakers for as long as the child remains under their custody and for which they are accountable rather than the child. Upon reaching puberty, he becomes dispensed of the [divine] Commands and his actions commence being recorded. He becomes subjected to the rules and regulations that govern both, Muslims and non-Muslims, and his preparations for life begin--a journey that will inevitably lead him either to the home of prosperity [I.e Paradise] or the house of wretchedness [I.e Hellfire].

For parents, the first and most
important thing for them to instill in their children's hearts is Tawheed.
And this is what the Messenger ﷺ did with the children, like Ibn
'Abbaas, when he (is) said: “O young man, I shall teach you some
words [o f advice]: Be M indful o f Allaah and Allaah will protect you.
Be M indful ofAllaah and you will find Him in front o f you. If you
ask, then ask Allaah [Alone]; and i f you seek help, then seek help
from Allaah [Alone], And know that if the Ummah were to gather
together to benefit you with anything, they would not benefit you
except with what Allaah had already prescribed for you. And i f they
were to gather together to harm you with anything, they would not
harm you except with what Allaah had already prescribed (decreed)
for you. The Pens have been lifted and the Pages have dried."

Today, we as a Nation are afflicted with widespread ignorance. The nations of the world gather against us, just as fellow eaters gather upon their dish. They use every tool at their disposal against
us - their wealth, their strength, their technical advancement, their strategy, their deception, and their disbelief. We are in such a state of peril that it is senseless to imagine that a single group among us can put astop to their constant onslaught.
Simply put, in order to rule according to what Allah has revealed, we must deem (both in belief and in deed) forbidden that which Allah prohibited, and we must deem lawful that which Allah has made lawful.' To do that, we must of course know what is lawful and what is prohibited. And we must seek judgement with Allah in all matters - Prayer, fasting, Zakat, and Hajj; marriage banquets and funerals; the way we dress; our food and drink; the affairs of the individual, the family, the society, and the Nation; business matters; the affairs of peace and war; in short, we must seek judgement with Allah in all of the affairs of our life.
